Recently I was notified by the UK Intellectual Property Office that my trademark application has been successful. The challenge/objection period has nearly concluded (12th December update – now concluded with no objections) with nothing coming to me, so I’ve started to update the artwork in use across all social media channels and this website.

A side-by-side comparison of old vs. new artwork. Drag the slider to compare the two.

My initial designs were put together very quickly as the ideas for designs had been in my head for around 2 years. I’m not a trained graphic designer (I know, hard to believe…) but I’ve been reworking the artwork to make my public image a bit sharper. This came about as I’m starting to be listed on Wedding Planning websites – click here for weddingplanner.co.uk partner profile – and my original designs weren’t cutting it, or of high enough resolution. The slightly rough-edged play device has stuck with me. I’ve tried just a clean play symbol, which is what’s in the trademark series artwork and used for embroidery for obvious reasons, but I decided to stick with it for a bit of character.

It’s a work in progress so I hope you’ll enjoy these new-and-improved HD wallpapers for your phone – now on a dedicated page found by clicking here. They’re scaled and sized for the iPhone 11, since that’s what I’ve got. I imagine the market for my own branded phone wallpapers might be limited to just me though…
